About a year ago there were tournaments. A participant -- I think his name was Silv -- murdered a participant outside of the tournament. There were orders to arrest him, and he was, of course, disqualified. In the ensuing chase, he left two patrolmen and two vigilantes dead and several others wounded.

Do you remember any details, Cooro?

Umm... Not really. I was with the Gurren Brigade, so I didn't find out about it 'till later.

I see. Thank you for trying to help, though.

Would you like to sample the kurage?

Sure, I'll give your kurage a shot. I'm always open to new tastes, and I owe you one for that great spar we had.

Oh, you have my thanks. I have not quite mastered this recipe, though I am fairly certain I removed all the toxins this time around.

*is eating now; it's Tibarn, he is not deterred by the mere threat of toxins!*

((OOC: Btw, totally just winging it here. Mun knows jack crap about food.))

Hmm. It's not bad, but it's not great, either. It's spongy, but you can't really help that, can you? I'd try a few more spices to add more flavor.

Spongy . . . Perhaps I should allow the tentacles to dry longer in the sun. Thank you for the advice.

Your tongue can still move, right? Right?

Even if it may not be satisfactory now, you'll get better. I'm sure everything will be fantastic in the near future.

Ah, kurage? May I try one?

thelostseraph September 11 2008, 00:59:15 UTC
Certainly. I am afraid I made much more than a reasonable portion.

Then we can eat the extras together? That way the food doesn't get wasted.

[eats!]

That was pretty nice. It's a bit - um... oh! - soggy, but it's good.

Soggy? I see . . .

*Ledah now recalls that jellyfish are largely made of water and plans to make jellyfish soup in the future*

Of course. You may consume as many as you wish. By the by, Momo . . . I notice you had expressed interest in the onsen?

Two. Two-time fluke.
