I take it you remembered something new.

Unfortunately so. I hold little hope that this is merely a cruel joke.

Well, if your memories were altered, it wouldn't be the first time. Nothing's sacred here in Memento Eden.

Anyway, I think I have at least a little insight into your predicament. We had some problems with the Gods back in my world, too. Ay least yours didn't decide to turn everyone on the continent to stone.

I doubt this is an 'event' of any sort.

It appears that 'god' is a loose term. The deities in question range from cruel to benevolent to . . . quirky. As with Shinigami. I . . . no longer pretend to know anything whatsoever about my own gods. If my memory is correct . . .

They have been dead for a thousand years.

Now, now! What's got you in such a fuss, hmm? Did you burn something again?

Tch. Were you even here for that?

Shinigami . . . You are precisely whom I need to speak with. I shall skip to the point.

What happens when a god dies?

Eh?!

I suppose it is not a normal occurrence in your world, either. At the very least, do you know if a god can die at all?

Jeez, what's your problem today?

You and your ilk, as usual.

You're such a stick-in-the-mud. Did you remember anything yet to explain why you're so boring?

thelostseraph May 11 2009, 03:54:33 UTC
No doubt attributable to demonic influence as well. Though I prefer the term 'righteous'.

Tch. I cannot fathom how on earth the gods could lose to your kind.

Is there something bothering you, milord?

thelostseraph May 11 2009, 22:09:22 UTC
Hmph . . . Very much so. It is nothing to trouble a stranger with, however.

Aren't strangers simply people that you've yet to meet? I'm Louise. And you are...?

Ledah.

I have not seen you before -- You are fairly new?

I thought we established that you follow my orders. Party leader privilege.

I follow your orders only when convenient. You haven't even done anything with the party for the last four months or so.

That's not what I call team spirit!
