Vacation

So I promised an update about our vacation... yeah, I know I said I would do it like a week ago but I have been really busy.

So basically our vacation was two days driving down, a five day cruise during which we visited Grand Cayman Island and Jamaica, then we went to Sanibel Island, Florida for a day and then we came home. At Grand Cayman Island we went to a beach and went snorkeling, and in Jamaica we took a tour in a garden and around the city of Ocho Rios and then we walked up a waterfall, which was fun. Jamaica was a really interesting place... they're all really laid back and they drive crazy. Anyway I myself didn't actually take any pictures since my brother was taking so many. These are only 20 of nearly 400 pictures he took.

This is us getting into Florida. It was a rough trip down though, I was sort of sick for a while.

This is a picture of our boat, taken from a smaller boat we were in going to shore.

Each night on the boat we had a nice dinner and afterwards one night they had a banquet with all kinds of fancy looking foods. This is an ice sculpture of a dragon.

This is a picture of us at one of the dinners. They usually seat you with other people, so this is the family we ate with. They were from Miami (the grandmother was born in Cuba and only spoke some English) but the guy was from Germany.

Myself, Jenna, and Christopher dressed up for one of the dinners.

The three of us dressed up for another dinner.

This is a beach we went to on Grand Cayman Island. I got sunburned.

The next few pictures are from Jamaica. This one is taken looking out from a garden into the jungle.

Some pretty palm trees.

A nice waterfall.

This is a swimming pool in the garden. There is actually a waterfall behind it that runs right into the pool and then the water just runs back out.

Another picture of the pool.

Jenna, a donkey, and a rabbit (in that order, of course).

Someone wanted me to post a picture of a sea turtle but since we didn't see any I thought I'd post the picture of the coolest animal we saw. This one still remains a mystery--- we saw what appeared to be electronic lights in the distance and when we walked up close it seemed the two little lights were on a small bug. I nicknamed it the "headlight bug." This must be it moving around when the picture was taken, but that's the color the two little lights were.

This is a sunset at Sanibel Island (in Florida).

Another picture of the sunset.

Jenna about to hit me with a lamp.
