The Wicker Man (2006) - a review

Well, I approached this remake of the 1973 cult classic horror, The Wicker Man, with much caution and fear, knowing how modern remakes of classic films usually turn out to be so disappointing.

Now, this remake, starring Nicolas Cage, wasn’t received very well by critics or the box office... so I’m sure you can understand my concern

I haven't seen the original Pelham, but I did like the remake. Not so much for any reason other than the two main actors who carried the movie. A decent triller, but nothing more.

Vincent D'Onofrio is a fab actor... he's just so intense and such a good bad guy!!

There was only one good thing about the 1998 remake of Pelham... and that was Donnie Wahlberg as one of the bad guys! :D

Yes I'm biased but it was a damn good reason to watch the movie!
