Not that it's THAT unusual for me to be silent, but I just wanted to let everyone (especially commission folk...you know who you are) what's going on

Hot showers, steam treatments and lots of spicy food. *hugs*
9 for dinner in most any size house is a lot. I think we're expecting 17 for one Thanksgiving (ah, the joys of divorced parents, holidays are always thought of in multiples, and then you have to account for in-laws), but that's in a house about twice that big with two bathrooms.
Hang on at least until later today, new chapters of Naruto and Bleach. =D
I found those Campbell's Soup in Hand thingees to be very nice when I wanted something hot other than tea to help steam open my head. The Creamy Tomato would probably be about your speed.
Hmmm, I'd suggest a big bowl of Pho, but I'm not sure if there's anywhere around there that does a true vegetarian version. Pho with a few squirts of sriracha does wonders for me, too. Believe it or not, steamed rice and hot and sour soup is my go-to when my tummy is not feeling up to much in the way of food.
Lots of Vitamin C, ruby red grapefruit juice is my preferred method.
Bought some cool tissues the other day. They're Kleenex and have something in them that makes them cool to the touch. Felt awesome on my raw nose.
Pho is great, although I don't know if a vegetarian version exists . . . my go-to soup for sickness is Tom Kha Gai, which is chicken/coconut milk/lemongrass/ginger/chili oil -- opens up your sinuses and really feels good on your throat and warms your stomach. It might be possible to get a veggie Tom Kha mix . . .
**hugs & tissue boxes!!**
Feel better soon, sugar!!!

Most places will do it without the meat, but it's still a beef broth. There's one place here in OKC that I know of that makes one with vegetable broth. It's a trendier place as opposed to a more authentic one, and I have no idea if that would still technically qualify as pho. But I have seen it.
Sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather. I'm a big germ myself, and then holiday guests in your house too? Hope you're feeling yourself again soon!

Feel better, and 9 for dinner is a crowd regardless of the house size!
