See, and I just had somebody tell me that blu-ray players were crap! D: What gives?

I still need to buy the DVD too. I'm so ashamed of myself but I haven't even gotten out since September. Plus I want to hold out and see if I can get a special edition since directors always wait to add special features. Glad it's amazing though!

I think the problem is that most players aren't worth the money. Features you'll never use, etc. Add to that the fact that you need an HDTV AND the HD cable (another $30) or else you won't get the premium picture. We got a Maganavox for $130 at Walmart. It wasn't much more than a high-end DVD player, so it was worth it to us.

Another issue people have is the price of the BR disks. Speed cost $30! >_< However, it had more special features then the standard DVD, a digital copy (which I never use), and a video game.

FYI, I saw the widescreen Speed at Best Buy for $10. ^_^

Well, I actually wanted the PS3. Because I'm a gamer in addition to it all. And that console has some good games.

I just heard that the quality of the video wasn't as nice.

And yeah, I figured as much. I really want some bonus stuff if I can find it. I'll take a keychain or anything. The anime DVDs had stuff. I've been spoiled now. ;) Thanks!

Home Movies ftw! ^_^

We're on the fence about PS3. We want one to completely our next gen collection but we're so firmly entrenched with our 360 that I doubt it would get much time from us.
