Having returned from another trip to Romania, I shall now pretend that I never laid eyes on what I just finished reading in these pages. I am going to go curl up by the fire, nurse down a bottle of whiskey, and deal with the hangover in the morning.
Hear that Draco? You've driven your mother to drink.
Oh dear.

This was my descision to make, and I stand by it. Seeing how I am comporting myself befitting a Malfoy, and defending what's mine, I hardly see the problem.

Yes, I do commend you for your admirable carrage. If you see fit to pursue this course, then I shall not attempt in vain to dissuade you. Simply see to it that you continue conducting yourself in accordance with your family name.
And for now... For everyone's sake... Don't tell your father.

I would hardly consider 'not telling my father'. I'm hardly going to continue in activities that I would need to keep secret from either of my parents; In fact, I'm doing the opposite.
However, I will continue to comport myself in the ways of the family; I have absolutely no regrets, and will defend myself to no one. I stand by what I do.
And Mother, that's no excuse. Please don't drink, shock or not. ... And, may I ask, what do you mean by 'I suppose it's my fault'? This is not a 'fault', and I will not have it construed as such.

Contrary to what Mother says, I am pleased that you think so.

I was speaking of my own shock dear. The fact that I was as unaware as I was.
Oh, and I didn't end up drinking a thing if you were wondering.
Nymphadora, please... family business. And I mean within the realm of immediate family...
