Due to my mom and dad(and probably sister) misspelling dining as dinning for years, and me having to correct it in file names, house descriptions and stuff like that, every time I see someone misspell it as dinning, I have to restrain myself from flipping my shit

Haha, I used to try and then I was like 'eff this' cuz it wasn't a priority to me.

Well, we all know I can be really weird over little things. I can't keep myself from not changing it.

With file names in such, it doesn't bother me as much if it's not changed, but in internet postings spelling mistakes bother me, especially if it's dining.

Which ones were messed up? I don't remember seeing it too often in actual postings and not fixing it but I also don't go over the older ones with a fine-tooth comb.

I don't even remember man. I usually just skim them and correct them if I catch one. Dining just particularly stands out to me. Chances are I actually corrected a decent amount before you even worked there.

This rant wasn't actually directed towards a current posting, but rather in a blog that I read where they misspelled dining over and over the entire time.

OH MY GOD, THISSSSSSSSSSS.

At school, we had a cafeteria called the "Dining Hall" and the amount of time RAs would misspell it drove me BANANAS. I'd see flyers plastered all over the damn school, "LOCATION: DINNING HALL."
