Yep. It's only remarkable because 1) it's from Google, the most morally trusted and largest search engine around 2) it offers a whopping 1GB of storage space, unprecedented in free e-mail, and 3) it allows you to keep all of your email and search for what you want instead of organizing dozens of folders.

Basically it's a very practical web-mail client that has gained even more popularity because of Internet geeks.
