So, it happened. I received "THE" email. The one from the ex-finance that finally gets around to telling me why he contacted me again. If his email is to be believed he wants me back. He still loves me. Has compared everyone he's ever met to me and they don't measure up. Won't I give him another chance to prove himself. What have I got to

I'm sorry that this is causing you stress. But you should use this post as a base for your email. You explain everything so clearly. it won't be easy for him to hear, assuming he is being truthful and trustworthy, but the best part is that it's an email. You don't have to speak to him on the phone, it's something you can think about, write it out, delete, change some stuff, get it exactly the way you want it. I really think that these thoughts above should be in the email.

The best part about this is that there is no phone call. And, just to touch on the whole "we're different people" - I would assume he's talking about dating and getting to know each other again, not just run down the aisle. At least one would assume that *g* *hugs*

Good to hear from you, was starting to think you (collective you) fell into a black hole or something else that swallowed up your town. *g* Now if faradheia and rubyrosered could learn to update on occasion, I'd be sure everyone was alive. You didn't even say anything about the Supernatural premiere!

Oh make no mistake, he did give me his number, said to call him if I feel the same way. Um, I don't think that would be wise at this point. So an email it will be. I guess I should use my points above, although those are just some of my thoughts. I'm not really sure what I should be feeling/thinking at this point.

I meant to comment to your post about Supernatural actually, but my boss was around, then I forgot to do it this weekend. I will do it tonight!

I didn't mean in my LJ, just comment in general. You never "have" to comment on something, you know that, but it surprised me when the episode came and went and... nothing. *gg*

I'm glad that all the correspondence between you and the ex is email, it will make things easier (less stressful) for you. *hugs*
