I know, I haven't updated in a long time. But life seemed to keep handing me this big bowl of lemons and I had to keep squeezing until they were all juiced.... bad analogy huh? Ok, I've been a bit busy

Sorry to hear how rough you are having it. Hang in there kiddo. It's a shame they are backing out of what they told you they would do for you. It's not right. I hope things get better.
Thanks hon! No, it isn't right, but I guess we deal with what will be when it happens. I finally went to the hospital because I figured I had gone so long worrying about them first and now I can't imagine what could have happened to me if I had waited any longer.
Btw - meant to tell you congrats on getting off that drug!! It's funny how something that is supposed to be good for us can be affecting our systems badly in other ways.
Awww hon, I'm so sorry you've been so ill and are being treated so poorly by your company. I hope your illness starts to vamoos really soon and that you find yourself in a state of blessed health.
I really feel for you. I'm recovering from pneumonia and I've been very very surprised at how long it's taking me to recover. Fortunately for me though I have a wonderful understanding boss who suggested I come back the first week part time (last week) which I did, but I was ready for bed by the time I left at 2pm every day, and to take yesterday (Friday) off so I can have a good restful weekend. I'm very blessed to have such a boss and I hope that your boss has an infusion of compassion in the near future that will make your life much better.
Pneumonia takes forever to recover from hon! I had walking pneumonia in the late 90's and I remember that even after the three weeks of actual sickness it took me almost another month before I really felt normal again.
I'm glad you're starting to feel better. Try to keep your eye on the ball, meaning better health, I know more surgery is not what you immediately want, but maybe it's something to be considered. Mind you I don't know the particulars about it, but you just haven't been healthy in so long that maybe something drastic is needed.
I will continue to send thoughts and vibes and love over the *waves hands* this here series of tubes (it's a joke about the internet, the Senator from Alaska described the internet as a series of tubes... nevermind. *g*)
As for work... just do the best you can, continue to support their needs and abide by the guidelines they've set up as best you can. *big hugs*
Thanks hon. That's the thing though, I've tried to be as good as I can about work, I just was having (past tense because I am hoping it will improve now) a rough few months on the health front. I would hope after almost four years that my boss, considering the kind of relationship we've had, would have been a bit more understanding or at least trustworthy that I'm not trying to abuse any system or calling out ill when I'm not. But that seems to be how he feels about it. and that makes me very unhappy.
