Dude, thats how i felt in jazz band for four years. Mr Moore obviously gave up on jazz band 2 years ago. He shouldnt do it if he knoews he doesnt have enough time too. I hated it as much as you do now. Just kno its not you bringing down the band. Good luck on all ur festivals and you guys sounded good at the winter concert. Cant wait to hear you again.

mike believe me, i'm in the same boat you are. i feel the same, the reason we took JAZZ band is to play jazz or at least music. and by that i mean music that is at least high school level, something that i may have to practice and not sight read perfectly the first time through, something with some substence(sp???).
playing cards everyday gets boring and homework during class is something that i'm not to fond of doing, i did take jazz band to play jazz. anyway, those are my thoughts on it. talk to you later.
