You know... Things can be representative, or clues about the past or the future. I'm not even sure if that's how they work, but isn't that the usual idea about dreams?

They're just dreams. Ain't no sense dwelling on them. Scare tactics to needle us. Illusions thrown up to herd us into a corner. Ain't a shred more to 'em. You'd be best not thinking too hard into what goes on in them. You don't want to fall into the hands of the thing holding the trigger to these sort of traps.
