Absolutely hilarious. And word. I hate it when we are told that just because we don't like some aspects of HP, that means we aren't true fans. With any other book, people are aloud to critique it and comment on what they like and don't without being told they don't really like the book. Why is Harry Potter put on such a pedistal.

What's really interesting about the dissenter-view is that it contradicts itself when in regard to Snape and his loyalties. HBP, when read literally, word-for-word, makes it sound like Snape is not DD's man; I would personally say that there is a growing majority of fandom that is leaning towards thinking that he is in fact DD's man (or perhaps it just appears that way, because they're so vocal about it!) - a possible dissension from the canon in itself. For someone like myself, who feels that Snape is more his own man, I'm dissenting from the already-established majority dissension, without taking the book word-for-word. :D
