RP: Coming Home

He arrived home through the window landing in the bedroom. He was glad Peter had left it open for him. He knew Peter must be worried about him. It had been almost a week since he'd left rather than the few days he said he was going to be gone for. He looked around the empty house for a moment and realised Peter was still at work and so headed back

Peter hated being alone. And he hated not having Gabriel around. So he took more hours at his job to fill up the time. He didn't come home until the wee hours of the morning. When he did, he tossed his bag and rummaged for food.

He was almost asleep when he heard Peter come in. He watched the other man enter the kitchen and wondered if he should broach him or not.

He decided against it and waited in the bedroom.

Peter went about his nightly routine as usual. He didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, after all. So after his dinner and watching a little television, he brushed his teeth and headed for bed.

"Gabriel!" he yelped out.

"H-Hi Peter." He looked very sheepish and unsure about everything. His clothes were a mess and he stunk. "Sorry if I scared you."
