Misleading statistics.

Welcome to The Manflesh.

"96% of teens will not stand for Christ.
If you're one of the 4% who will, put this in your profile."

More like put this in your garbage-disposal.  I've seen this in a countless number of AIM profiles since I started looking for them.  If it's in your profile right now, I do hope you'll read this.  I have absolutely nothing ( Read more... )

It's sad, but it's true. Most statistics aren't really statistics. Freakin' meatbags.

kind of reminds me of the myspace variant "IF U LOVE JESUS CHRIST REPOST THIS IN 33 SECONDS"

either way, it's retarded

while i completely agree with your purpose, i disagree with your conclusion. whether or not that statistic is true has no regard to whose, or how many's, profile it is in. it exists to give the wearers a since of conformity that was lost when people reached the age where they could think for themselves. for whatever reason, "96%" of the population chooses to not stand up for christ, and of the "4%" remaining, some feel that in order to be aknowledged, they must beg for the pity commonly associated with a drastic minority. and obviously, in america the view of the minority is just as important, if not more important, than that of the majority. sticking it in a profile is not an act of merely proclaiming a belief, it is putting the belief on such a pedastal that standing on it is the only moral action, and existing elsewhere is an immoral crime.

it is, however, nice to see that an era of free thought does indeed still exist. =)

Whoever you are, you were moderately smart until the end of your post. Unless I misunderstood you. In which case, that past statement I made would be very ironic.

Joseph, I'm sorry, but for once I can't point out errors, make fun of another person who replied, OR make a case for nullifying christianity. You did all of the work for me! How sweet. :)

Yeah, Paul is quite the thinker. I had a good response, but my dad shut down my internet and I was too dissapointed to remember it. Either way, I appreciate the feedback and agree with much Paul had to say. And yeah, thank you Jackeriah.
