Claire was waiting for the other shoe to drop as well. She hated that realization but that was pretty much how her life went too these days. Had been for the last few years.

Still she wasn't going to let it rule her or cast a shadow over everything she had with Archie. They knew each other's secret and they were still there at each other's side. Sitting in his office, she set the books aside with a groan. "I can't read this anymore." She tipped her head back against the couch. "My brain feels like it's on overload."

She let out a little noise of pleasure as she let her head fall forward when he started on her shoulders. "I wanted to know what I was dealing with. It's just...overwhelming." Though not near as bad as when she had found out about her ability and others like her but pretty close.

"And I wanted to read as much as I could before Henry came looking for it."

Archie gave a small smile to himself, continuing to massage her shoulders and the back of her neck. "All the stories, so close to what you know, but not quite?" he suggested. "I know, it's crazy if you look at it."

He kissed the top of her head. "Henry knows where it is. He's probably waiting for me to give it back to him."
