There was a power surge today during the thunderstorm and all of the computers reset. Well, my server didn't...so I turned it back on. Soon after, I realized that the hard drive with all of my full albums on it wasn't mounted ( Read more... )

Oh the memories that are now gone. No more "Numa Numa" to be heard behind some Sphongle and Tally Hall. We will miss you songs. This just hasn't been a year for computer parts. First video cards, now hard drives... Nate and Brett better watch out. Their computers are next.

Well, actually, Numa Numa wasn't in the full albums, so it's still there. Sphongle is in the [Techno] directory, so that's still there, and Tally Hall I have on CD so I can rip again ;-)

Oh, and on the upside, I ordered a 320gb drive to replace the 80. Looks like my server finally has over a TB of storage ;-)

Your server has TB. I didn't know computers could catch tuberculosis. ;) j/k Wow, a full terabyte! I'd like to tear-a-bite out of that. Ok...I'm done.

Yeah, so this one guy that came to a ConnectionLAN once now has a 10TB fileserver :-O
At least I beat him in organization ;-)
