I got a job!!!!!
Finally!
*whew*
It's a good job, full time with benefits, doing research similar to the kind I did in gradschool, but this time the focus will be cardiac disease rather than TB. No more sputum! The company seems good and strong and healthy, the people open and honest, and the research solid. The commute is all the way to the Oakland Airport (seriously, I have to drive through the airport to get to work!), but from Dublin it's really only about half an hour if I leave by 8am. And I am seriously going to find a way around highway 238.
This job has been in the works for about 2 weeks now with interviews, but I didn't say anything in hopes of not jinxing it.
I start work tomorrow!
