Okay most of the people I cut SERIOUSLY NEVER UPDATE or...update about like, anime and stuff that I have really...stopped caring about all. I like RL stuff, I find it interesting. It's the fandoms-I-don't-follow that makes me ignore things >.>

I'm still deciding on whether or not I should post about fandom or real life stuff. Do people care about my real life? Or do they just want to squee about fandom-related things? Or maybe both, I guess.

God I know, right? I never really know what my flist is going to want to read. A lot of them I've known for years and still consider to be people I was really good friends with once, even if we aren't that close now, so we have like, NO fandoms in common anymore, so babbling on about Merlin and Doctor Who and Chuck, etc...not really going to be their thing. But people who I'm just getting to know through those sorts of fandoms probably don't want to know detailed descriptions about my daily life either, so it's a toss up! I try to do some of both and hope for the best, really.

You would think that maybe if your flist are your friends (online friends maybe, but friends nonetheless), they would care about your daily life as well as fandom activities. A balance there should be, Meg. (shameful Yoda speak for you)

Well I do try to contain the babbling aspects of my posts! Most of the worst of the babbling happens in IMs to key people who are at least as bad, if not worse. That way there's...less that needs to get out in embarrassingly public venues!

As for balance, well, I always have had a problem with falling over...
