Yeah so I said "DON'T GET USED TO IT" and then there was a friending meme at caffrey_burke and I realized that I've added something like ten new friends in the past WEEK. So I should, just possibly, do a little intro of sorts ( Read more... )

Archival Science? That's pretty cool! I've got two friends who are getting their master's in history / museum preservation. I'm in Library Science myself.

So far, it's pretty cool--lots of group projects where we can actually interact with school libraries and public libraries; good for getting our foot in the door!

Cataloging isn't too fun, however. =/

Sounds neat! I get the feeling that if I do get into the program I want, I'll be mostly on the cataloging side of all that, which is how I like it, really! But that's awesome that it's actually sort of applicable.

Nothing wrong with being a professional student. I would call my self that but after I graduate with my Bachelors in History I'm gonna work for a while before I try to get into law school for mediation.

By the by, speaking of layouts, your's is gorgeous.

Technically I'm not in school at the moment, but I'm not doing much either. I have an interview in like, an hour, at David's Bridal which is SOMETHING but not really much of anything exciting.

Thank you!! You really don't want to know how long it took me to make. Tweaking all the numbers just right could be a right pain!

*waves* Hi! Wow, we have a lot in common! I also have a BA in English, and I have an MLIS - though, I haven't had a chance to use it professionally yet. I've been a full-time mommy for the past three years :-)

Did you love Ireland? I'm planning to visit in a few years and I feel like there's a good chance I won't ever come back once I'm there, lol.

I adored Ireland and if it weren't for how expensive Dublin was, I WOULDN'T have come back! But when you're running out of money, it's probably time to come home.
