Sounds good but traveling this time of year does NOT. Weather is still so unpredictable right now and it's been such a strange winter to boot. We'll be there soon enough, if our plans work out. :)

For now we're thinking 3rd-13th. It'll likely have to be shorter than usually because Brian and Amanda already have a trip to here planned for March but I didn't want to wait until after because that seemed too long. But we're still waiting to hear from them on exact dates and whether they'll see her folks first or not, so it's not entirely settled yet.

Yes, LJ is being dopey! I'm sure we'll get all the comments eventually. I've tried to check and keep up and so now it'll be a big let down when I check my email and have like 10 new only to find they've already been read and responded to. :P

The weird thing is lots of friends have Super Bowl parties. I wonder if they're just in the habit of not inviting us because we always went to Davids parents party before? Even Emily and Aric usually have one yet I've heard nothing about it this year. You'd think at the least they would invite dad since mom is out of state and he loves football!

Yes, I think people hold back on formal invitations for a lot of reasons that don't have to do with the guests/nonguests. In fact, they might really want your company but somehow think that you wouldn't be interested and don't like the rejection? Maybe that's just me. :P

Nah, I think a lot of us are kind of insecure in that way! I have to have friends spell it out for me that they like me and want me around, like my one friend did before we were really friends and she told me to my face that she was "going to be like a tumor on your side" until I decided to be her friend. LOL Now we're best friends. But that's what I need to feel sure about my relationships with people. Otherwise I feel like they probably only just "put up with me" because they are nice, or feel sorry for me because they know I moved away from my family to live here or something. Heehee.

Yes. My hope is to have them all gone by the end of February at the latest. Hopefully sooner though!
