The Good Things Begin

So after the disastrous Rolla adventure and dropping out of school again, I'm back in therapy and have been ordered to do journal entries every day.  They must be about good things that happened, because I am trying to stop my brain from making up horrible scenarios about EVERYTHING FOREVER (<--I am also supposed to stop making generalizations like ( Read more... )

It's good to see you back, babes.

Believe me, your therapist knows what they're doing in trying to get you into doing good.

And I'm not just saying that in the sense of being a fluffy-bunny-do-gooder. Okay, maybe the do-gooder title is correct but it is by no means shallow.

By writing down the good things that happen is a form of acknowledgement and pretty soon you'll find that the good things out-weigh the bad. In a religious sense it would be making your God bigger than your Devil. That can be taken literally or metaphorically but it means wonders for you ( ... )
