Unlike many of the trolls, Nepeta has no sense of bloodlust. If she does, she takes it out when she hunts for her meals, and even then, she only hunts to eat, and even then, she uses all of the parts of the hunted animal, not leaving anything to go to waste; for example, she uses the pelts as clothing, and she uses the blood to paint pictures on her wall. A gentle girl to the core, she will listen to her friends' problems and is often very sympathetic-- she often likes to sit in the robotpartpile with Equius Zahhak, her moirail, to discuss feelings with him. She dislikes seeing sad things, and rather likes to look at the brighter side of things-- in this way, Nepeta is a great optimist; even when her best friend and moirail was going off to stop the highblood(Gamzee Makara), Nepeta, instead of keeping a sad face as she said goodbye, told him that they had better meet again. Nepeta is also very loyal and trustworthy in that she is very good at keeping secrets and she tries to keep true to her word. She is a bit passive as well, often letting other people tell her what to do (Equius often tells her not to do this, not to do that, etc., etc. And she listens most of the time, though otherwise, she would assuredly be doing anything and everything she wanted to do.) She is, however, quick to take action when the situation calls for it, and her skills as a huntress are called for those times.
Nepeta is also a shipper(as in, she likes to pair her friends up in a romantic sense), and she uses the blood from her kills to paint her cave walls and decorate them with pretty pictures. One such wall is dedicated to nothing but shipping, and it is split into two parts: matesprit (the troll equivalent of human romance) and moirail (platonic soul bros who watch each other's backs). There are actually four quadrants, but Nepeta is only interested in the redroms; black romances, which delve into hatred, are not in her interests, and as such, there is no room for that on her shipping wall. She is very serious about her shipping chart, going so far as to painting each and every individual ones and editing each one as needed. Naturally, because she draws so much, Nepeta is of course an artist (or perhaps it's the other way around). For this reason she has a tablet-PC instead of a normal husktop like other trolls do. Nepeta is quite serious about her shipping chart, even going so far as to changing every picture that contained her friend Aradia Megido in it (as Aradia was killed, and her soul put into a robot) to match her current state.
Canon Background:
Nepeta Leijon is a green-blooded troll who was raised on the mountainside in Alternia, the world of the trolls. Her lusus, Pounce de Leon, is a large, two-mouthed cat, and her hive (which is actually more cave than hive) is supposedly on a mountainside on the outskirts of troll civilization, though she did have means of communication by way of trollian and her tablet-PC. She grew up learning to hunt for her own food, and as such, has gained the skills of a mighty huntress.
When she turned 6 sweeps old (13 human years old) Nepeta and eleven of her friends started playing a game called Sgrub. The game was designed to destroy their planet and allow them to manipulate their reality, while the goal of the game was to defeat their enemies and enter a new universe which would be created in the process of this game. While her group was able to complete the game, even defeating the Black King (who was the "final boss" of this game), but due to a certain mishap (the kids entering their session of sgrub[which is called sburb for them], therefore sending a monster who denied the trolls their victory and reward, which was to enter the human universe), they were forced to abscond into the Veil, which is a meteorite belt.
Forced to stay in the Veil, the some of the trolls would troll the humans-- and eventually, help them through their sessions. Nepeta, on the other hand, did not play a big part in trolling the humans; instead, she spent her time below on the robotpartpile where her moirail Equius's and her quarters were. There, they discussed many things like feelings, and did many things like roleplay.
In order to survive, trolls and kids helped each other(more the former to the latter). Their goal was to create the Scratch(a rift in space-time continuum), which would somehow aid in their survival. What happens after that, no one knows.
Three trolls, however, made things complicated. The three in particular are Vriska Serket, Eridan Ampora, and Gamzee Makara. All three of these characters had killed one or more of their fellow trolls-- Vriska Serket had killed Tavros Nitram; Eridan Ampora had killed Feferi Peixes and Kanaya Maryam, while blinding Sollux Captor; Gamzee had killed Equius Zahhak.
It is speculated that Gamzee also killed Nepeta, but there is no proof, as the actual killing was not shown. However, Gamzee's weapon (a club) had Nepeta's green blood on it, and Gamzee held her hat as a sort of prize. Nepeta's unknown status is akin to the theory of Schrodinger's Cat, which follows with Nepeta's overall theme of cats.

When Nepeta started primary school, she would call herself "Annika the Capricious", one of the famous wizards from her household-- or, for short, "AC". Her erratic behavior and near-obsessiveness over felines made many children shy away from her.
As she grew older, her catlike tendencies grew; Nepeta began to dislike dogs, or at least the stench of them, and she bore a lot of looks from her mother's side-- the black hair, the thin eyes, and a catlike grin. Nepeta thought of all these attributes as signs that she was indeed a great descendent of the mighty Leijons of the past, and took it upon herself to make sure she didn't let her ancestors down. (This, of course, meant putting catpuns into her speech on whatever occasion she could manage.)
Despite this, however, Nepeta sought after friends. After all, she was naturally a people person, and no amount of culture studying would satisfy her need for human interaction. Still, there wasn't quite any way she could possibly "fit in"-- by the time she was in her third year of primary school, Nepeta was pulled out of school to be homeschooled by request of her teacher. Her mother took it upon herself to teach Nepeta about magic-- the magic that she had learned in China, anyway. From her, Nepeta learned about magical creatures, though her favorites would always be when her mother talked about the felines that roamed about in the mountainous areas of her mother's native country. Nepeta grew an interest in magic and magical creatures from that point on, and it would evolve tremendously until she hit the age of secondary schooling.
On the night of the twenty-seventh of July, the Leijon family received a parcel from an owl. The letter contained gave great joy to the household; even before opening it, Felinus knew that his daughter would attend Hogwarts; he himself had attended it when he was young, and of course, this would be no different for her. Nepeta was not without equal, if not greater excitement, and her family made a trip to London post-haste.
From then on, in the two years that she attended Hogwarts, Nepeta made many friends, and tried not to make enemies; her curiosity was never sated, however-- after all, everything was just beginning! But in her first year, Nepeta learned of a magical ability that would consume most of her summer studies with: animagi transformations.
Now Nepeta is in her third year, and still trying to learn how to transform herself; as she is now in third year, she will be taking the class of Care of Magical Creatures-- a class that rivals her excitement and want to become an animagus. Diana

Gryffindor: Nepeta has many fears that she has overcome with bravery, and she constantly makes an effort to shoo away her fears and overcome them she also tends to be impulsive at times, and has a little bit of disregard for the rules(in canon, Nepeta would have broken many rules if Equius was not her moirail and kept her from doing such things). Sometimes, she will do things without realizing that there could be a certain consequence to breaking some rules. Nepeta is also not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right, and can be stubborn-- especially so when a friend of hers is doing something that seems very detrimental (especially to that person's health). She also likes cats.
Hufflepuff: Nepeta tends to be painstakingly honest, and she is nothing if not loyal to her friends. She takes secret-keeping to be a very grave task, and when she isn't the one who is in some sort of competition, Nepeta likes to have things kept fair (unless she's involved; then, it's all fair in love and war). Nepeta is also fairly tolerant, though sometimes she can have a short fuse (depending on the topic). However, she is overall generally very tolerant of people.
Ravenclaw: While not the smartest of people, Nepeta yearns for knowledge; she is a curious kind of cat that always questions everything, and because of this, she may be suited for Ravenclaw. Nepeta is also very creative, and likes to think differently. However, these are perhaps the only two things that are going for her, as she is otherwise not the brightest spell in your arsenal.
Slytherin: In all honesty, you really can't say Nepeta has much ambition. I mean, let's face it: the greatest she wants to be is a cat. Perhaps, she would also want to be a magical creature caretaker, but that is just about the extent of her career ambitions; as for other ambitions, Nepeta doesn't have them. However, despite this, she is cunning, as well as resourceful. She is also a pureblood, which may give a slight bit of contribution to this house. Nepeta would personally not be opposed to being in Slytherin, as green is her favorite color.

Though this was her third time now that she would be riding this train to her home away from home-- Hogwarts, school of Witchcract and Wizardry, there was still the tingling excitement that made her inside jittery and her organs twist up. The weather, unlike in her home Sweden, was very warm-- this, she took note of, and greatly approved of. Her scarf, which was wrapped around tightly on her small neck, was not needed, though she found it comforting to keep on anyway.
The train's horn was sounding; it would leave soon if she did not quickly get herself a seat. The girl gave a quick kiss to her mother, and a hug to her father before grabbing her carry-on belongings and quickly running to the train; once she had hopped aboard, Nepeta glanced back, taking only a moment to wave toward her family, and over the bellow of the train's horns and the calls and shouts of people, the girl yelled a quick, "Goodbye, māma, bàba!" before disappearing into the train.
Not long after she entered the vehicle did the train begin to move; as the girl walked down the hallway of the cars, peering through each door to see whether the compartment was full or not; if it was, she went on ahead to another one.
Finally, she was able to find a particular compartment of which there was only one person occupying it; sliding in quickly, she sat herself down across the other person, and when her traveling companion looked up at her, Nepeta's catlike mouth curled into a smile.
"Hi! My name is Nepeta; what's yours?"
