Probably one of the most gorgeous days I'd seen in a long time. After a morning PT session and breakfast the 2nd platoon of Bravo Company 2-28 Infantry was scheduled to spend time on the weapons range conducting dry fire exercises

It was a gorgeous day in New York too. I was a junior in Brooklyn high school and 16 days away from celebrating my first year in America.

I pass by the ground zero several times a month, it's such a disgrace that we just now 8 years past got the structure of new building just above the ground. You are right we've become distracted.
