The Royal Perth yacht club do a "dingy sailing course" - it is aimed at getting people in the water and does not assume any knowledge. For people of "larger size" such as myself this would be lasers. The main reason that I have been cooking for my wednesday nighters was so that I could get the mob together at squid house early and wouldn't have to delay for them to eat. that way we could start playing earlier and "get more game" (which just sounds silly). ( Read more... )

Public Holiday Monday

I had a cunning plan.

However due to the lack of robot ferrets I have had to scale back.

My initial plan involves having lunch on the south perth foreshore (corner of Coode and Douglas) at the boatshed - but it isn't open on monday. Since then I have tried a number of other restaurants arround and get similair responses.

I often delay leaving home to go to work for as long as I can. Once I leave home, the time is no longer my own and becomes "dead time" ( subject to reading books on the train, browsing the net at work etc). As a result, I am often a minute or 2 late for my train - which means I miss it and am 15 minutes late arriving at work.
