In 5 Years Time

I write this entry for my friend Ann, who tweeted a while ago that she’s been too lazy lately, e.g. putting important things off, like chores, or crafting 2012 goals -- which is exactly how I would describe myself. I also believe in this adage. Years ago, when Duane and I were just a new couple, I wrote him a letter filled with things I wanted to do with him. Basically, it was a couple activities checklist. And last year, i went through the letter again then realized that we actually ended up doing all those things together! Super amazing :) It all just happened even if I did not make any conscious effort to look back at the check list and tick each item off.

I've been working on my 2012 plans and your post made me realize I have to look 5-years ahead. I have a special notebook that I plan to use as well :) Good thing I hoard notebooks. Hahaha!

yes - you pick out the top goals, you want to work on for the year, and set mini-goals to achieve them by end of year. :)
