Mai-HiME disc 2 review
aslkdfjodkah?! I banned myself from buying the next disc until after Christmas...;;
It's starting to get GOOD.
1.) Character death already! Waah! This is actually starting to get good... but then they ruin sad moments by showing the characters in the girl's locker room changing.-_-
2.) The extras are absolutely ridiculous... but you gotta watch them to keep track of things.
3.) Ok, so I'll mention names of the characters I like so far.
Pretty much everyone with the strange exception of Nao who kinda creeps me out. Or really creeps me out. She's messed the eff up. Which can make things a lot more interesting... but still. She's cool, but over the top at the same time.-_-;
4.) Not as much cranky Natsuki in this. I like her character so I was kinda sad.
5.) Umm... weird... Mikoto using Mai's chest as a boob pillow... "Those're mine." ^^;; nyaaa....¬_¬;;;;;
6.) Augh! and the stupid clip... I don't appreciate incest jokes! I don't care if Shizuru flirts with Natsuki. Or if Akira, if he's really a he (think Haku from Naruto... totally doesn't look like a guy), is paired up with his (male) roommate by some of the female upper class(wo)men.
7.) Drunk Midori was entertaining. Though I don't really think it's necessary that both her and her friend, the school nurse, run around with their stomachs showing all the time.9_9 It looks trashy more than anything...
8.) I was bummed Akane's Child seriously only had one episode. boo.;;
9.) The secret behind the Child/HiME bond! Woah! Woohoo for angst!X D
Overall: I'm getting hooked... I just got the second disc today and my mind seriously needed something like this... even though I've got a ten page paper to write for tomorrow.
Now though, I'm going to take a nap. I've been up since 3:30 AM. Woot!
(Oh, and I might add screenshots tomorrow... since I think I'll actually have the time.)
Sorry, both of these reviews have been rather cranky ones... but... it's just that time of the year (Finals!).
