I found a LJ collection for my old high school. I also found a blog that I think belongs to a guy I really liked at the time.

Tried to send e-mail, and it bounced back. Maybe that's for the best?

The question is... should I even bother bringing the past back?

If you're anti-social and hate people in general, then no - I don't even bother because it's a waste of time - can geek-count the exceptions on 1.3 fingers (for the non-nerds, that's <=15. in this case, way less.)

[Note: the below does NOT apply to romantic interests! Those are just gonna cause a whole world of trouble for all involved parties. Not to mention the sheer enjoyment (cue dripping noise) of the yearly "hey, how are you doing? by the way, I'm pregnant again!" emails from one of my exes (whom I haven't seen since the last millenium and have no desire to, anyway)]

ok, moving on...

The moral of this comment, lost somewhere in the ranting, is - keep trying! You're stable enough to handle rejection, your ego will recover soon enough (and if not, I'll just buy you hot chocolate and fawn over you until it does :), and what else will you lose in the attempt? But what you have to gain is a friend. Sounds like a worthwhile endeavour.

LOL on hey-pregnant-again exes.

And no, can only be considered a romantic interest insofar that the guy tried to hit on me on our prom night, and I was kinda rude because I didn't want to say, "sorry, buddy, I'll be switching continents in 6 months".

I suppose I'll need a new online identity, then, won't I. *sigh* That will be the third big one; I wonder if anything beyond that will give me a multiple personality disorder.
