I've noticed a couple of years ago that while my English is no longer making much progress, my Russian is rapidly deteriorating. While this leads to many amusing conversations (me: "Ya byla skonfuzhena/I was confused". Mom: "sunshine, 'confused' means 'embarrassed' in Russian"), it is turning into a real problem

i think translit is the first sign of losing it :P so switch back to the mother tongue of KOI-8R or Win1251, whichever mother tongue you prefer :P
