Okay. Was supposed to be off today but woke up at 7, worked from home 7:30 till 5 because it keeps raining projects.
Then went out to relax and have fun with a friend I haven't seen in waaaay too long.

End of a nice meal.

they're right. vacation can wait, and stick with the project till the end. but pick only one project, and everything else can go and [due to the violent and physiologically improbable nature of the intended act, its description has been censored out].

working is good, but projects will *never* end, and taking care of yourself and occasionally getting sufficient downtime is absolutely integral - unlike a server, we can't just kick awake the standby or restore you from backup, so take care of yourself - the economy of a small african nation will hardly come to a standstill if you actually take a day off.
