A WEEK OF JON AND STEPHEN

With the Report in the Gulf this week I have decided to liveblog The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Because I love Jon and Stephen both equally.

I was going to make this public except I can't figure out how to override my default security settings. It let me, just now. Hmm.

Jon looks very energetic tonight.

I don't think Jon actually has 90 writers (I think there is probably that many people on the general staff, but there are definitely less than 20 writers) The goldfish bowl shot was pretty hilarious, and of course, Jon's omnipresent grey t-shirt ^_^ Arrgh, I was dying for a Stephen shout-out/appearance somewhere, but Jon was pretty awesome on his own...

Ugh, Fox makes me retch. Seriously people WTH... OH MAN Jon's guest... as soon as she said "I want to get those motherfuckers" I knew Jon would have to make some sort of 'i think i love you' comment XD

I realize now that, even though TCR was filmed in advance, Jon couldn't react to anything because technically it would be a spoiler for the upcoming show... I wonder if he will do more reacting to Stephen tomorrow now that an Iraq show has aired.

Oh, pfft, you can tell how gullible I am because I actually believed Fox or maybe I was just really excited. Jon, I bet shopping with you is really easy. I know, there's got to be some kind of connection this week.

The Fox clips were especially absurd tonight. His guest was great, though, I love it when he and a guest really hit it off.

Ahhh...yes, that makes sense. I want a Toss teasing him about his hair XD That wouldn't be too much of a spoiler!

Ahaha the awesome is overwhelming! I just realized...we got Casual!Jon and Casual!Stephen in one night! What are the odds?

I'm doing it for the whole week and er I think on Friday and next Monday... and maybe Tuesday, idr, I'm liveblogging Anderson Cooper 360. XD Those will possibly not be as lulzy. (I know someone who liveblogs AC360 and she's going out of town so I am taking over lol.)

HEY, HEY! You know how I said that I didn't think I could love Stephen anymore? Yeah - you were so right on that, because as soon as he stood in front of that old-fashioned microphone and leant on that golf club my heart exploded again. I mean, I don't know how many of the younger soldiers will get it? But it was awesome that he made a Bob Hope reference like that. ♥ Oh, and you were so right about Jon being energetic (part of my mind did that - Stephen being gone makes his insomnia worse > Jon needs to drink more caffeine to stay upbeat > Jon maybe drinks too much coffee > Jon ends up hyperactive by show time

Ahaha giant comment! XD I know, I know, how can these boys just continue to make us love them more? Now that I know about the Bob Hope thing I'm even more squee-y over the show. And however much coffee he'd had, Jon was clearly excited, and it made for a great episode
