Liveblogging the boys yesterday has given me a newfound respect for taurenova, pulling out AC360 liveblogs for us each night. Man, that takes a lot of energy
( Read more... )
I am so not looking at anything you've written under the cut - I just wanted to say thank you for your lovely words of praise - and for also pointing out my awesome powers of CALLING THE SHOT. *preens*
Man. I have to wait for these for ages. *sighs*
(Ooh, I've just remembered that my friend who I got into TDS is coming over, uh, today. She and her boyfriend don't watch Stephen because her boyfriend doesn't like him (SAY IT ISN'T SO, JEN!) but I told her she had to see the Iraq episodes. Now I can show her! Woo!)
oh. Jon bit his script. that was beautiful ^_^ All of TDS was wonderful, and I thank you for providing a coherent recap that I am simply not capable of XD
This is getting attention to issues the media hasn't been and, man. Seriously, I just... I was verklempt almost this entire episode...
LOL the "Do I have to do this if I'm gay" line KILLED me, because this is what he and Jon were talking about before the toss when I was at a TCR taping ^_____^ Jon basically said he would rather marry a dude than rappel down a five story tower :-p
XD At points I was like SDFK IS THIS TOO LONG?! but then I gave up because I was having fun and will probably reread them later or something.
I know, I know, I basically had no words, so I just went "man" and hoped people could infer my emotions.
Whaaat! It is too bad that you cannot remember that conversation verbatim. Or provide video of it. *cough* (Stephen was surprisingly good at rappelling down the tower though!)
I am still too amused that you called the shot! I wonder if Andy will do anything else this week...
TDS:
1) I just remember seeing a graphic for the dueling speeches that I think involved light sabers. But that's exactly what I thought of, too. Anderson handled the Palin mention well.
2) The little I know about Berlusconi is all bad. (And, aha, it made me a little excited for the possibility of future, real BLAGO WATCHES. Although I am not looking forward to the ridiculousness the trial will probably be.)
(I...think we know the answer to that question. XD)
3) Hodgman was fun! I like getting to hear from the correspondents on longer pieces... I hope Aasif or Wyatt gets to do something soon, I feel like we haven't heard from them in a while.
4) I know, I hate that I get defensive of them because I want people to give well-thought-out critiques of government! I guess it's just because my memory of government is dominated by Bush and this was the first time I'd voted so I'm really invested in these people

I'll let you get back to your LiveBlogging. :D

I will strive to provide some laughs for when you finally do get to see it!
(Yay for watching with friends! (Although...no...perhaps he is just jealous of Stephen!) Spread the love, TDS appreciates it.)
