[Lang had intended to utilize the various abilities of his companions to find the Varia mansion when they arrived at the bar, figuring it had to at least be within the same city. He hadn't expected to find Squalo there intending to escort them, but he'd decided it was a risk worth taking, with a few of his group.

Those who are considered 'fighters' came along and are now in the room listening to Xanxus' announcement, but several key people were left behind and made their own way here - Klavier, Edgeworth and Ten. Michael's hacking into the system should allow them to find the mansion, while the bad guys think the good guys are cowed and lost, subject to Xanxus' whims.]

All right, men - and women. We've made it this far. I need volunteers for a strike team to be the first through that door. If Xanxus thinks we're just going to sit here cooling our heels until he gets bored, he's wrong.

Xanxus vs Lang

[ When you've been fully left alone, unaware of the fates of the people you sacrificed, it's time for the last battle.

Xanxus is waiting in a large empty dining hall, sitting in a throne-like chair at the head of the table, feet propped up. His head is tilted down as if he has fallen asleep, but the slight smirk on his face betrays just how aware he is.

You'll also notice a large white lion laying beside the throne, but pay him no mind. He's just there to show you what a REAL lion looks like. ]

[Lang isn't happy. Xanxus has set things up well, though not as well as he might. Rather than blowing up the house to kill them all, or something equally brutal and instantly effective, he had done something more subtle - a war of attrition, grinding Lang's people down until only the leader was left.

He isn't used to being alone. Especially when he knows that the man in front of him has supernatural powers he can't even guess at. But he has no obvious fear as he strides into the room]

You're the one who's looking for entertainment, Xanxus. I'm just here for one purpose - to see you in cuffs for what you did.
