i just used my dads handy electric drill with a philips screwdriver bit to take apart my synths...first of all my roland has been messin around on me because when the hardware faders are at 0 position...they are sounding as if they are in the 25% position...i verified this by viewing my synth with the editor librarian software via midi....this is ( Read more... )

If you like punchy sounds, then maybe invest in a Juno-60? It lacks midi but if you can find an MD8 MIDI-DCB interface... Although I'd never rid myself of a working 106 under any circumstance.

the juno-60 is a great synth but its just the old model of the juno-106 and i dont think any changes where made to it except for added MIDI, portamento, and more memory...roland did however take out the arpegiator, wich would be the only reason to consider a juno 60, and to me its not worth it...
