The social life of the average mole

I’ve been rather bad about updating LJ lately and the only excuse I can offer is that I’ve been rather caught up in the intoxication of being able to go out and do things again.

Christmas seems a long time ago now.  Since we got back we’ve developed something of a social life, a thing which was impossible last year because of my steadily worsening ( Read more... )

Nice to see you around and hear things are well.

I like theatrical farces. There is something about a set with multiple doors and a man with his trousers round his ankles that brings out a particularly refreshing glee.

I'll admit to a taste for Carry On films, Bamforth postcards and Whitehall farce of the kind my old theatre company would never countenance.

The Feydeau pieces were "more words and less action" if you see what I mean but they still had all the classic farcical elements.
