DW "Flesh and Stone"

Oh, I really loved that quite a lot.

Not a full recap this week, because last week's was just absurd, and I'm sure I don't have much to say other people haven't already said several times and better.

"That's the whole point. You have to remember."

It would make more sense if he said "that's the whole point", wouldn't it? But I think he said "that's not the point." Which confused me. Maybe he means that what he told her isn't important, only that she remembers it? And yeah, totally with you on the Amelia scene at the end of The Eleventh Hour. This makes me happy because it maybe means we will see little Amelia later on in the series? :D

I thought he said "that's not the point" at first as well, but when I went back try and figure out 'when' he was, I listened to it several times, and he says "that's the whole point". Actually, it's hard to tell, but I think he may even say, "see? that's the whole point."

>>I don't watch the Confidentials or anything so I don't actually know if that sort of thing got mentioned.

The Confidentials haven't really gone in too much detail about the plot lately (though I didn't watch them in previous seasons so maybe that is the norm). Thus far the Confidentials seem to just be there to show how awesome and adorkable the two leads are. And I am all for that.

>>But, I should mention, there's an eight-year old in my head who mostly goes "ICKY!" when the Doctor kisses (or is kissed by) anybody.

Me too, though after watching it a few more times that completely wore off.

Oh, see, now that's a perfectly good reason for Confidentials. I'll have to watch now. Also, good to know they haven't mentioned it and I'm not just spouting cluelessly (any more than usual, i mean).

Me too, though after watching it a few more times that completely wore off. The Doctor's reaction was perfect, and I lol'd at the whole "You're human! You're Amy!", so it wasn't unbearable, and it's not that I think there was anything wrong with the scene, I just have a squick where the Doctor's concerned ( ... )

hee! ITA with Eleven being awesome. And I love him talking. And being stupid about the little stuff.

eta: do you know what? Now I'm wondering if this isn't the first time he's done this. I always sort of assumed that the scene in "The Eleventh Hour" with little Amelia sitting, waiting for the Doctor and then looking up at the sound of the TARDIS was just a dream, because we cut straight away to Amy waking up to the sound of the TARDIS, but was it? I don't watch the Confidentials or anything so I don't actually know if that sort of thing got mentioned.
I watched that confidential, and there wasn't anything about that section ( ... )

I cannot work out in my head River killing the Doctor. I don't mean that I don't think she couldn't kill somebody (and they were very particular to not say "murder"), and that it couldn't be the Doctor, I just can't get it to work in my head whichever way I play it. I'm very often very wrong, so I suppose that's reason enough to believe it was him, but I can't buy it ( ... )

Good argument, and it makes sense. Also, technically, the Doctor isn't a man, so that is another, small, mark against it being the Doctor.
I didn't know Moffat resolves his own stuff, but I'm glad he does.

I find myself very intrigued by River killing someone.

ETA: I was thinking about the ultimate kill, as well, and that if it were true, it would be a long, long time from now (one would hope).

Well, remember, I'm wrong 99% of the time, and that 1% really just represents the times I don't remember if I was wrong or not. Heh.

I didn't know Moffat resolves his own stuff, but I'm glad he does.
In fairness, this is just my observation of him and his previous works, and isn't something that he's stated or anybody's stated as fact.

I'm just having loads of fun, and yeah, that's really, really nice. I've missed my wacky 'mad man with a box' show.
