Talking to my mom, she tells me the story of how she met James Taylor ("Sweet Baby James") in the early 70s ("back when I was cute") and ends it with "And I particularly remember it, because it's the only time I ever got tear gassed." Oh mom, I love you.

I love discovering how cool parents are. About ten years ago I found out mine used to go to Doctor Who cons back in the 1980s. My parents were cool once! Which was more times than I had given them credit for. Not James Taylor cool, but still.
