I got this top from topshop and am wearing it today... it's so pretty. The frill and ribbon tie are silk and feel so lovely on. It's nice to have something that looks smart but is comfy and pretty too :) The neckline also appears to suit the kinda French short fringe thing I have going on since I chopped my hair myself.

this is the second 'tell me what you're wearing!' post i've had on my friends list today, and for once i feel like i am almost as cheerfully and interestingly dressed as the other people i know who normally respond to these.

i am wearing my black trousers (office staple), a bright blue, v-necked tshirt, my gorgeous grey cashmere cardigan, and my new red shoes that are entirely like a pair i had in blue when i was seven. for walking home i have my birthday scarf in stripes of blue, pink, purple and silver to keep my v-neck warm. i don't care that i've got red shoes and pink scarf going on, i reckon i look grand.

it was you i was discussing red every day shoes with, wasn't it? well, these were in the doc shop and were £24 down from £60, so i couldn't not!!! these are they:

yes i think we did discuss it... i had bought some in topshop only to discover they were the wrong size and then i couldn't get them in the right size. sigh.

As it is quite chilly today I am sad to say I am rocking black winter tights. In May. Oh yes. Along with a lime green knee length skirt, black top and assorted accessories. And a smile :)

skirt sounds gorgeous. i like block colours like that. and it is cold isn't it? i've had the heating on the last three nights.

Aye, it has gotten chilly again just as we were getting used to the warmness! We have been avoiding putting the heating on as oil is so expensive but it'll be coming on tonight afor an hour after i am back from the gym!
