I'm beyond in love with this dress. I've been sighing over it for about 6 months now. It's currently 40% off on netaporter.com, which is still about 40% more than I can afford to pay. What are the realistic chances that if I buy it, I'll manage not to buy anymore clothes for about 3 months? Low, me thinks. Could I pawn it off as an I've-just- ( Read more... )

Thankfully it's not at all a case of either or, and it would just be a case of devouring my clothing budget for the next while, rather than any home improvements budget. I've never even tried on anything of her's. Maybe I should go to Brown Thomas and try something on to see how her clothes are not made for the curvier lady and to confirm that it would be a foolish buy.

DvF is an addiction I have seen grip other friends leaving them penniless.
Once you have one you want more and more.
This dress is the textile equivalent of heroin.
just say no.
