If you burn the house before I come, I'm released from the deal.

Nothing is being burnt down, but oh, those poor grilled cheeses, they never stood a chance!

Not if they depend on you, anyway.

So cruel. Right through the heart! [dramatic sigh that ends with a clatter in the kitchen, she probably took the dramatic too far and knocked something down.]

Matchmaker! O-Oh wait, don't burn don't burn! [she clears her throat after trying to save one of the frying sandwiches. she's really not good at this] I've found someone who would be perfect for you.

[ignore the fact that Usagi has never met No-Ah, and vice versa]

...What are you doing, Usagi?

Attempting to talk and cook at the same time. Not my best work.

That's putting it mildly.

I look away for one second or maybe a minute or two, who's counting and they start turning black on the bottom. It shouldn't be this hard! I can multitask! I can cook!

Multitasking clearly isn't your strong suit.

[GUESS WHO IS IN A GOOD MOOD AGAIN.]

It isn't! I knew this from the start, and yet... The poor cheese.

[Oh. Wait a sec. Zoi-Zoi sounds like he's in a good mood? This is a joyful occasion!]

Feeling better?

Perhaps you should leave cooking to the people who won't set their own houses on fire.

[And you just get a thoughtful hum in response to that. Zoi-Zoi is in a very good mood indeed.]

I'll have you know that I'd never set the house on fire. I have safety measures put in place. [she learned how to use that Filial water spirit thing.

but, oh my, that hum sounded like a "YES" and that means super bff moments. oh yes, Usagi has been waiting for a joyous Zoi-Zoi for awhile now.]

Kunzite's back?

Plant-people, Usagi? An interesting request.

Haruki brought it up, believe it or not, and I've got to say he made me curious. I must find a plant-person, or I'll never know what rain is like for one of them! I wonder if rain is like a delicious dinner that doesn't get burnt when you look away for a couple of minutes.

The taste of rain? [A brief silence as he actually contemplates.] You would also have to consider what it must be like to drink water that didn't arrive as rain. Would they know the difference?

I didn't think about that! [there's a quiet aha noise from her and the sound of her writing] Another thing to add to my list of things to ask. Any other thoughts, Mister Silverberg?
