its been reported now, that it did NOT burn down.

from an article today: "The back lot's famous Courthouse Square, which was showcased in the 1985 movie "Back to the Future," was destroyed, but the clock tower that helped the movie's star, Michael J. Fox, to travel through time was only damaged, company officials said."

at least the clock survived.
