Someone hawking Tamiflu has set up an LJ account under "reiganorson" and has friended me. I've done what I can short of locking my journal, but I wanted to alert you in case the bastard does it to you. I don't even want to put in an LJ link to the name. I'm kind of disgusted.

I just got friended by another one hawking Tamiflu too, and I banned it from my LJ, but I couldn't (upon fleeting, cursory look) find how to report them as spambots. How does one go about that, or where should I look to find the instructions? Mine was called dvglabdrek. *rolls eyes*

I don't remember exactly how I got to it, but if you hit "home" at the top of your LJ and scroll to the small print on the bottom, one of those categories will take you to a page where you can report abuses. They even have a special form to plug in the name of your spambot.

Thanks so much! Turns out that when I went in search this time, the spambot that had added me was already struck-through. :)

yeah I got a tamiflu bot too, diffent name. dont freind them back and tag them as a bot or spam.
