Good things this past week:
1. Spent my first full week at work on the historical exhibit project, which finally got budgetary approval. It's great to sink my teeth into a new history project: reviewing the research I did last summer, making lists of possible thematic emphases, what should go on the historical timeline, which people & legal cases ( Read more... )

bad things, work, family, life, good things, severus snape

*hugs* I think the only thing that could ever make a parking meter look appealing is a cosy. Picspam, please!

I think it's a fun idea! If you click on "it looks like so much fun" in my post, you'll go to the Heights Arts website & they have pics of their project.

How much longer are you home?

I know! I want to weep. Just the thought of rooming with you & Qui & Juni was mood lifting. At least you got your week with Sonia.

Have a fantastic time! Take lots of pics!

~sniffles~

Hugs back.

Boston this fall definitely seems doable. Especially since I can drive there or take the bus. Might test the Go Bus! Can I meet the twins if I come?

Well, you will definitely meet the twins - especially since I'm nursing every 2-4 hours round the clock! Let's see how easy it is to get out of the house at that point. ;)

I'm a big fan of the Bolt Bus - clean, reliable, comfortable, and efficient.

We are, a few of them here in Boston. The local Boston HP-MA and NYC HP club are gathering for the first weekend for the opening Oct. 25th day, and we'd be open for other gatherings too. :-D

You know, I'm on the NYC meet-up group list, and somehow I completely missed their plans! Too hasty with the delete key, I suppose. I'll have to check on that weekend and others as well. This is exciting...

I'm on their FB list too. Are you IN nY?

I really hope you can come to Boston, if not for that day, another, we'd be glad to accompany you.

I am; well, Jersey City, but it amounts to the same thing.

I have to nail down some dates in the fall for work-related research trips, but I'm definitely going to go to Boston, either that weekend or another. It's so close. Also, I haven't been to Boston for so long and would love to visit again. I will keep you posted!

Flights to Chicago aren't too badly priced, but combined with everything I would need to spend on the weekend, it's just too much. ~sniffles~

Must get a better paying job!!
