Family Portraits | Generation Seven First Circle
Hello again from Camelot! It's been such a nice winter. Enough snow that everything's beautiful, but not too much.
Everyone at the main house sends their love! They're all doing well. Beckett and Elena just became teenagers! Beckett is a Family sim, while Elena is a Romance sim. Both girls are interested in heirship, as is Elena's sister, Angel. We're all looking forward to finding out who the heir will be, though that won't be for a long time!
There have been so many birthdays this season! The youngest members of this generation are all Children, which is a little bittersweet. It's wonderful seeing them all grow up, but it's still a little sad to say good-bye to the Baby and Toddler years.
The older kids have begun thinking about dating, of course. There's only one official couple so far--Amy's older daughter, Clara, and my granddaughter, Pandora. I have to say, Donna and I love the thought of one day sharing great-grandkids!
Like I said, it's been a wonderful winter here. I hope you all had a good winter, too, and I can't wait to hear from you!

I'm so sorry to have to tell you this, but Aunt Nora passed away yesterday.
Unfortunately I just heard that Aunt Donna followed her today. They were the first people we've lost since moving here, and we're all very much feeling the loss.
I promised Aunt Nora before she passed away that if anything were to happen to her, I would take over in keeping you informed about life in Camelot, and that is what I intend to do. Admittedly my job and family life leave me too busy for her longer missives, but I will do my very best to send all relevant news and updates your way.

Notes:
I've actually played through spring, so I might update again this week. From now on rather than doing the letter format I'm planning to just have updates that state important events--obituaries, weddings, engagements, births, graduations, etc. I might also include neighborhood picspams, but we'll see. I'm just more than ready to reach generation ten, lol, so I'm trying to get through this as quickly as possible (although I do still plan to do family portraits & first circle guides as I go, and if you have any questions about non-first-circle sims or anything I'd be more than happy to talk about them, too).
As you're going to quickly notice in the updates, this has led to me trying to play in a much more hands-off fashion, just letting the game run while I do other things on my regular laptop. This has led to some--interesting incidents, including a very unexpected death. Stay tuned.
I'm also planning to update the generation seven guide again soon, since all of the kids are now teenagers. That might happen as soon as I post the spring update. We shall see. I'm not planning on marrying any sims in right now (though if they have trouble finding townies or NPCs I will post about it) but if you want to download any of my sims just comment to let me know and I'll upload them.
