The Morgan Legacy, Generation Seven: Winter II (Events)
Here we are, the monthly Morgans update! I'm going on a trip next week, so my goal was to get the winter session wrapped up and posted before then. Goal accomplished. \o/ My current project is sorting through my game files, which is well underway. Ran everything through the Compressorizer and have sorted through all the male cc in Bodyshop. Tonight is ladies' night. Wish me luck!

Notes: Nikolai actually lived half a rotation longer than expected, enough time for him to hook up with Erin. She rolled up the want to marry him, too, but that would have caused him to immediately move in (and probably immediately expire) and I'm not evil, so it didn't happen. I was really hoping he'd knock up one last person before he died, though (he's SO HANDSOME, I wanted those genes back in the pool) so that made me really happy. (Fingers crossed Nate manages it next rotation, too!)
I'm basically fulfilling all my sims' wants as they roll them with regards to skilling; I don't make anyone skill unless they want to. That's why sims are failing out of college. ;; I'm trying to at least make sure to skill strategically when they're younger so that they can get in those Mechanical & Charisma points, but it's sometimes a hit or miss strategy.
I'm also fulfilling their wants when it comes to engagements and weddings. Unless both sims are rolling wants for each other, I don't push them to commit. I have a lot of one-sided relationship wants locked, to say the least! I'm hoping a few more matches will be made in the next season, but if nothing else, I'm sure ACR will stick me with plenty of Generation 9 babies anyway.
Meanwhile, I have, in fact, chosen the Generation 8 heir(ess):
Alexis! She's my favorite out of the four kids, but that's not the only reason I chose her. It came down to her and Matt, but this is another generation that needs all the eligible bachelors it can get. There's a severe dearth of gay & bisexual sims: Alexis is actually the only gay sim this generation (there are four who are bisexual, iirc), so it made sense for me to find her a nonplayable who's gay or bi, since she'd probably be looking to nonplayables for spouses, anyway.
(As for the other two kids: Alec looks too much like his dad and opted to marry a playable, anyway. Olivia also doesn't have enough of the Morgan look, and she's the least interesting of the four to me.)
