The Morgan Legacy Family Portraits: Generation 10!

Mar 25, 2016 03:39

The time has finally come to make my final Morgans post. ;_; I can't believe I've been playing them off and on for a decade. I do wish I could've kept it as a storyline the whole way through, or at least given more detailed picspam, but there's no way it would have ever gotten done had I taken either approach. If you skimmed any of the updates ( Read more... )

First: congratulations on reaching generation 10! (Especially as I myself will never even get to my proposed half-legacy finish line, as I made the opposite decision and decided to keep doing story but quit early...)

Second: Hope this doesn't mean you'll vanish again. Some of the rest of us are on tumblr - I'm Scribblessims there. :)

Third: I'm so glad there are are still descendants of the round robin elves and that Mercury's jawline survived. :)

Thank you! I almost quit several times, but having it still waiting unfinished just really bothered me, so I always had to return to it lol.

I'm in Kpop fandom at this point and I'm going to try to take a break from simming at least until I'm established after my upcoming move, but from there we'll see! I don't feel done with the Morgans et al by any means, but I really do need to focus on other things.

Yeah, I was so pleased by some of the things that survived! Sad that none of the gen 10 kids got the Doran alien skintone, but who knows, maybe if I revisit them someone will give birth to a kid that has it. I definitely need to breed in NPCs or townies, though, because everyone's starting to look too much alike lol.

Thank you so much for reading & commenting! It means a lot to me. ♥

Yeah, I've sort of moved fandoms too... I'm writing (editing now... again) a novel. Also got big into Star Trek a while back, not that I write fanfiction unless it won't leave me alone.

I'm glad to see you still around!

Congrats on finishing.

Boy, the Anne/Jace genes were strong.

Thank you so much! ♥

LOL I do sometimes wonder if they would have stood the test of time so strongly if I hadn't had to recreate all the sims during gen 6's rebuild. Four generations is still a long time for all of it to last, but who knows, maybe the genes would have been weeded out had I still been playing in the original neighborhood.
