Are there any offerings we mere mortals may convey to the vengeful goddess in appeasement?

See, I'm difficult that way. Most women have chocolate. A lot of it. And it works. But I don't like chocolate. And that's not just due to the diet. So. Chocolate's out.

Copious amounts of alcohol, maybe? But then, all that will do is cause a headache tomorrow.

Ack, hell if I know. Find a way to make the hormones go away?

See? I don't have anything constructive to offer.

I'm not the hugest chocolate fan - for me it is the glory of the fried potato...which is a no-no in and of itself.

What is your favorite fruit?

Strawberries.

Blackberries.

Pineapple.

Did I mention that I'm also more indecisive around this time as well?

Is it my own self-illusion, or am I the only female I know who doesn't get that way once a month?

*shrug* Dunno. I've noticed that you have your moments, but I don't think they're as consistent as I seem to have. Mostly, you're just lucky. So I guess the answer is, I wouldn't count it as self-illusion.

*grumbles more about hormones and the universe

I think my pissiness stems from that I am in that way generally on a weekend that involves lengthy car rides to game - the g00bing tends to grate a wee bit when stuck in traffic with it. Though according to royalcrown my temper very rarely manifests.

*raises hand*

I've had cramps twice in my life, both times within the last year... and emotion/hormonal/nonsense I'm no different from any other time (which may mean that I'm naturally unstable and you just can't tell the difference, lol)

Oh, I'm sure you're good for more than that. Just ask me at the end of the week.

Memorandum for Men:

I have found a handy step by step method for dealing with... not happy time.

1. Assume it is your fault.
2. Try and fix it, but realize that it is a futile effort.
3. Try and do something constructive. Outside. Away from female. Go and wash *her* car, go and do the laundry, or drive two hours to find her favorite snack food. Like a nuclear weapon, the problems are distance, time, and exposure.
4. Whatever you do, this is not the time to bring up any issue that has in the past caused a fight. You will have to apply rules 1 and 2, and then be forced into rule three.

Just so you're aware.
