New (Involuntary) Work Schedule

The new work schedule - which is now 7am to 4pm as opposed to 6am to 3pm - sucks. I don't like it. I don't like the traffic in the morning nor in the afternoon. I don't like having so much of my day thrown away to driving

I am confused. I thought you lived in this one place that is far from Los Angeles, but you speak of Los Angeles as if you lived there (or near there) rather than this one place that is far from Los Angeles. Am I mistaken?
