"LOXODONTA" An Interesting Story

"LOXODONTA", the genus name for African elephant, means losenge-shaped teeth applying to the chewing surface 
Elephant in Latin = "Huge Arch"

In 1986, Dan Harrison was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from
universtity.
